Hi, I am Sarah.

I am a Lake Macquarie local, mother of four beautiful girls and passionate about photography and preserving memories.

I have always loved taking photos, but my passion really started in 2016, which was the year my grandmother passed away. She was diagnosed with dementia with lewy bodies in 2010, and I spent the next few years making sure we had photos with her and our family in them. After her passing I wanted to preserve those memories for other people and this is when I commenced my photography education.

Before I took up photography I worked as a Registered Nurse. I have worked in various nursing fields, with children and adults and have always had a passion for working with people.

I have a rich and vibrant style, and I love personalising each session to cater to the family I am working with. Our work is a collaboration and I want your personalities to shine through your photos.

The photo you see is a photo taken of me by my husband after the birth of my fourth baby. It is really the only photo we have from the day she was born as I suffered a massive haemorrhage after her birth and was rushed off to emergency surgery. I have included this photo because it is of a vulnerable moment in my life, and it shows how important photography is to all of us.
